If you are getting quotes from local Solicitors, please be aware that many Lenders would require there to be at least two partners in the Practice. For comparison purposes, can I suggest that you ask any Solicitor to put their quote in writing to you, clearly showing the full breakdown of all possible costs, with V.A.T. and disbursements shown separately from their fees.
